Engaging the Citizens

Have you ever attended a Commissioner's hearing?

Have you ever stood in front of the Commissioner's and asked a simple question?

What you probably saw were Commissioners who were unwilling to engage the citizens in meaningful conversation.

We will actively engage the citizens and get more feedback.

No elected official should "hear the citizens" and then go and debate internally without the citizens being able to respond to points made during the debate.  This is a bad system.

We will change the system to make government more responsive.
